The Siegel Stars got the 2017 season off and running behind Senior Running Back Lelan Wilhoite.  Siegel rolled off 43 unanswered points before giving up a safety late in the game.

The Stars defense was stingy all night.  The group gave up a little over 100 yards total on the night and did not let the Red Hawks in the end-zone.

Wilhoite  rushed for 111 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also had 73 yards receiving with one going for a 44 yard  touchdown.

Senior Quarterback Brendan Crowell was on target all night.  Crowell completed passes to five different receivers on the night.  He was 12 of 17 for  230 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The Stars start the 2017 season off 1-0 while the Red Hawks drop to 0-1 on the season.

Siegel will travel to Ravenwood this Friday night to face a 0-1 Raptor team that lost 23-26 to Centennial last week.
