Beginning with the 2017-2018 season, the Siegel Stars Wrestling team will have a new look. After years of debate, the NFHS approved a rule change that will allow wrestlers to compete wearing an MMA style two-piece uniform rather than the traditional wrestling singlet. According to the National Federation of State High School Associations, the rule change was adopted as an effort to increase participation in the sport.

Siegel’s new uniform meets the new federation guidelines, while putting our own spin on representing Siegel Nation. The design includes a navy blue camouflage compression top, with the stars logo on one sleeve and an American flag (Siegel Nation colors) on the other sleeve. The back of the shirt features Siegel down the back with a Tennessee Tri-Star at the base of neck.  The fight shorts also represent Siegel Nation, with the flag on one side and a large stars logo on the other.

Wrestling will begin practicing on Monday October 30th. Anyone interested in joining the wrestling team should see Coach Ramsey in room 713.
