Siegel defeated Riverdale 4-2 on Thursday.

In the second inning, the Stars got their offense started.  Gabe Morris grounded out, scoring one run.

Siegel pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning.  In the third Jackson Cauthron singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, Zac Pearson doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run, and Sean Lyons grounded out, scoring one run.

Jaden Lasley pitched Siegel to victory. He allowed five hits and two runs over five innings, striking out one and walking zero.  Seth Petry threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Petry recorded the last six outs to earn the save for the Stars.

Brayden Siren took the loss for Riverdale. He surrendered four runs on five hits over three innings, striking out three and walking one.

Siegel scattered eight hits in the game.  Drew Benefield and Cauthron each had multiple hits for the Stars.  Benefield went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Siegel in hits.
