Siegel Softball  was victorious over Smyrna, 5-2

The Stars fired up the offense in the first inning, when Caitlyn McCrary singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Siegel notched three runs in the third inning scoreing its runs on a home run by McCrary.

Sophie Golliver led things off on the hill for Siegel. She surrendered two runs on three hits over seven innings, striking out six.

Kaitlin Higgins started the game for Smyrna. She went two innings, allowing four runs on five hits, striking out three and walking zero.  Lily Soverns threw four innings in relief.

Siegel tallied two home runs on the day. McCrary had a dinger in the third inning. Golliver had a long ball in the sixth inning.

The Stars scattered six hits in the game.  McCrary and Presley Leebrick all managed multiple hits for Siegel.  Leebrick and McCrary all had two hits to lead the Stars.

Lyssi Drayton went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Smyrna in hits.
