Coed Varsity Swimming · Stars Swim finishes great regular season with salute to the class of 2021

The Siegel Swim team returned to action Tuesday night as the team battled Central Magnet, Lavergne and swimmers from across the county. The team continued to show that this season is a big leap forward winning numerous individual and relay events. This meet wraps up the regular meet season for the squad, as the qualifiers gather their breaths for the upcoming TN Regional and State meets. While there are many quality swims yet to come this year, the focus of Tuesday’s meet was the 2021 Senior class.

The 2021 Siegel Swim team has made substantial strides due in large part to its senior leadership. Through the difficulties of the pandemic, the constant leadership and encouragement of this talented class of 12 has created a culture that inspires inclusion, collective hard work and fun filled competiveness.  Swimming is a difficult sport that is centered on continuous personal development. This class has demonstrated that perfectly. They exceed standards in and out of the pool. The Siegel Swim and Dive program will be forever grateful for the contributions made by this group. We are all #strongertogether and #p2bass because of leaders and people like you.  Next year’s team will have large shoes to fill, but is ready for the challenge to keep this wave moving.

To the class of 2021, Stars Swim wishes you nothing but the best and simply says THANK YOU.
