Siegel drops game to Smyrna Friday night. The Stars could not get on track in the second half after cutting a 14-0 Smyrna lead in half with 1:16 left the second quarter. Siegel committed four turnovers on the night and came up on the wrong end of a 42-14 loss.
Siegel drops to 3-4 (0-2) on the season.
The Stars have a bye week next week and will host Oakland on October 13

Game Recap

In a crucial matchup for 7AAA regular season title, the Lady Stars fell short of their regular season goal, with a heartbreaking loss to cross-town rivals, Oakland. 3-2.
The Stars started red hot with some excellent opportunities on goal in the first five minutes. Oakland found the back of the net in the 10th minute to go up 1-0. OHS struck again a few minutes later for their second. The Lady Stars battled back and got a goal back with an unassisted goal by Janie Hopper. With this goal, she is 2 shy of the all-time goal-scoring leader Siegel. The Lady Pats went 3-1 with a PK with 10 minutes left in the half. The Stars came storming back with a goal in the first minute of the half by Mia Roberts. The Stars pressed but could find the back of the net for the equalizer. Oakland takes the regular season title, and awaits for the playin game on Thursday, Oct 12th.
