Key and Kirkland Represent Siegel in All Star Game

Siegel High’s Jacob Key and teammate Tyler Kirkland will represent the Stars eight days after they beat Arlington for their first state championship in school history. Key, the District 7-AAA Pitcher of the Year, went 10-1 with a save this past season. Moultry and Salter earn Freestyle Medals at USAW Southeast Regionals

Michael Moultry and Christian Salter followed up their Greco Roman medals with podium finishes in Freestyle wrestling. Moultry (145 lbs), coming off a 6th place Greco Roman finish, earned a 5th place Freestyle medal. Moultry finishes 6th in Greco Roman at Southeast Regionals

Siegel’s Michael Moultry (145lbs) finished in 6th place representing Tennessee at Southeastern Regionals. Along the way to his 6th place finish, Moultry defeated wrestlers from Alabama (pin and Tech Fall) and Georgia (Tech Fall) Compiling an overall record of 3-3. Michael will compete again tomorrow in the Southeast Regional Freestyle Championship.

Siegel Introduces New Basketball Coach

Siegel High School has announced the hiring of Dyron Birdwell as their new boys basketball coach.  Birdwell will replace Coach Ben Dotson who resigned after 8 seasons at the helm.  Birdwell is the third  boys basketball coach in the history of Siegel.
