Stars Beat 8th Ranked Cookeville

COOKEVILLE – Siegel’s difficult early-season schedule may have prepared it for a tough Region 2-6A game against No. 8-ranked Cookeville on Friday night. The Stars, who opened the season with losses to Ravenwood, Hendersonville, Oakland and Wilson Central, spoiled the Cavaliers’ homecoming by shutting them down 16-0 at Eddie Watson Stadium. Stars battle through weather at Tennessee Classic

The Siegel boys and girls cross country teams ran Saturday at the Tennessee Classic. Both races were contested in a venue the Stars have competed at many times, Steeplechase at Percy Warner State Park in Nashville.
