Interscholastic activities at Siegel High School are an important part of the overall educational process. The athletic programs offer students expanded learning opportunities that include self-discipline, self-esteem, and teamwork. Students who participate in extracurricular activities tend to get higher grades, have better attendance, and pose fewer discipline problems.
Siegel High School offers interscholastic sports and is a member of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) and abide by its constitution and by-laws in addition to the applicable policies of the Rutherford County Board of Education.
The opportunity to participate in Siegel athletic programs is extended to all students who meet the eligibility requirements of the TSSAA, policies of the Rutherford County Board of Education. Before participating, students are required to have a physical on file along with necessary emergency medical information. The forms are available below, on the TSSAA site and at each of the schools.
